The new construction zone in the Primary School playground opened this week to much excitement! Imaginative, collaborative play filled each nook of the multi-pit structure. A series of sand and dirt pits with raised wooden platforms between were overwhelmed with groups of students "finding the bottom" as they dug large holes and tunnels together. "How deep do you think it is?" asked the Year 3 boys. "Maybe a metre, maybe 85cm." While Naomi in Year 1 made a discovery, "The bottom's all white!"
It might be wise to shake out the trousers and stockings before putting them in the washing machine!
