Year 7 Taster Day

Experience Secondary School at
Wagga Wagga Christian College.

We warmly invite your child to attend our upcoming Year 7 Taster Day. These days provide primary students with the opportunity to spend time in a secondary setting. Throughout the day, students will participate in a range of engaging lessons, meet teachers, and experience some of the routines in Secondary School. The aim is to build familiarity and confidence, helping ease the transition into high school.

Event details:

9:45am: Students will be welcomed on arrival and given an overview of the day.

10:10am: Lessons will commence with students taking part in three sample lessons across the day.

11:10am: Students will enjoy morning tea together (this is provided by the College).

1:30pm: The learning program will finish by 1:30 pm, followed by students sharing their own packed lunch together.

2:00pm: The day concludes with students returning to their primary school or being collected by parents/guardians.

We also warmly invite all parents of prospective Year 7 students to join us as we outline the transition process to Secondary School at Wagga Wagga Christian College.
